They tried not to. The Avengers had a reputation to maintain, and it was one that Roxie believed very deeply in. She loved the Avengers.

What she didn't love was how her brother's face darkened.

"It wasn't like that, Alex," Roxie jumped to her friend's defense perhaps a little bit too quickly. "It's...I honestly...that's his story to tell.
